Firstly I do apologize for the delayed announcement…between a week of family gatherings, a wedding, and several other summer activities – I found it a challenge to get in front of the computor.
Now here I am, at the lake, with limited internet access…..

But I’m taking the time now to announce to you the winner of the Healthy Chocolate Giveaway challenge is Coralee! You can see Coralee at her blog, Angry Turtle! Congrats Coralee. She is the recipient of a healthy chocolate gift pack including ethical healthy chocolate nuggets, probiotic squares, energy cookies and energy drinks, and of course a handmade beauty from Miss Mouse!
Thank-you everyone who participated and even tried out some of the challenges! Thank-you those of you who filled out my survey – and those of you who are still going to fill out the survey!
Have a wonderful week – loving summer!
Does that sound familiar? Starting own business! As if there are not enough tasks already!
The biggest task by for is the mental hurdles and the challenges of facing well meaning friends’ verbal assaults and concerns, when they hear of you starting your own business.
The people who win, of course have the winning attitudes as well – not to sound too cliche. This is not about a pep talk in positive thinking, if you want that, there are many other authorities larger than I to help out with that.
The hardest and most meaningful lessons of all, are those learned through experience. Life has begun to teach me a little about belief and the words that I speak and how those powerfully can effect us. One of the first times I realized that words have the power to steer destiny around us, was the day I admitted out loud that my greatest fear was that one of my big dogs would knock the baby down the basement stairs. (That was more of a nightmare). Even with all the safe precautions that we had set up, within an hour of me speaking out my fear, would you believe it happened?
It did. This was 2 years ago and that baby is 3 now, and fine. Including the huge scare that it was to Mama, it brought a sobering epiphany moment – our words DO have an effect – for GOOD and for the NOT-so-good!
What are you talking about these days that have effect on your life and your own business?
“The things coming to pass in your life are the result of what is in your heart.” – Kenneth Copeland
So when it comes to the Starting-own-business mindset we want to ask ourselves questions like, “what is in my heart?” Surely whatever is there, is what will come out on our lips, creating or tearing down.
In another part of the literature that I had mentioned here, it talks about how a wise woman builds her house, but a foolish one tears it down (with her words).
I want to be a good builder, starting in my heart, mind and spoken words!
Feel free to take advantage of the E-Book offer, for Free, by Ann Seig on the right hand side there. By signing up for it, you’ll also receive my blog updates!
What is in your heart these days? You can leave a comment or retweet – Many Thanks!
